Design as intention, not ornament.

Architectural Fire Object Nº 01 — Stahl® Firepit
A pure, elemental fire object composed of intersecting steel planes, the Stahl® Firepit embodies the quiet strength of architectural form. Its geometry is disciplined and monolithic: four sheets of raw A36 steel or anodized aluminum slot together to create a sculptural volume that anchors any outdoor space with presence and intention. The material is honest and uncoated, designed to evolve — the raw steel develops a natural patina over time, shifting subtly with weather, use, and environment.
Hand‑built in Portland, Oregon, the Stahl® Firepit is a study in restraint: no ornament, no excess, only structure, mass, and flame. It is an outdoor ritual object, meant to gather people around a warm, silent center.

*Warning: the steel can become hot after a prolonged fire, and children should be under adult supervision at all times around the firepit.
*Raw steel used in the manufacturing of metal fire pits always has some discoloration. Please note that we do our best to maintain the most consistently clean steel, but sometimes the metal is not perfect. Once the metal patinas, the discoloration will not be visible. Please let us know if you have any questions about patina.
